● Obama has left Moscow. He found a Medvedev with whom to make contact. But in same time, Putin has found a firm and hard. He discovered (which, moreover, should already know) that it is Dmitry Medvedev, the president of the Russian Federation, to have effective powers. The real reins of the country, in fact, are in the hands of Vladimir Putin. A man who, to quote Obama, "is still with one foot in the Cold War."

NOW IN MOSCOW THE RABBI REACHES HOME

A "synagogue mobile runs on the streets of Moscow. BULGARIA

WINS THE RIGHT AND collapse of the SOCIALIST. CHANGING THE FACE OF SOFIA

Sunset definitely the old myth of the vote seen as a plebiscite Bulgarian Communist. Now Sofia is definitely right and from the polls, in fact, vote out the new Bulgarian is all in the name of the conservatives and reactionaries. There was, in fact, in recent days, the victory of Gerb (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria), the conservative party of Sofia mayor Boyko Borissov a former firefighter and former bodyguard of the secretary of the Communist time, Todor Zhivkov. And there was the consequent collapse of the Socialist Party (BSP) over the last four years, Bulgaria ruled in coalition with the center-right party of former king Simeon II (Ndsv) and the Liberal Party the Turkish minority (DPS).

The BSP finds himself reduced to a minimum and its leader Sergei Stanishev, the Socialist has definitely lost paying so for all cases of corruption at the highest levels of power. Pay for the its inability to combat organized crime, and all this against a backdrop of rising unemployment after the country entered a recession in recent months. Many of the supporters of the BSP, finally, they never to swallow the "strange" coalition with Ndsv and DPS.

The heavy air of the right had already been felt in 2007 when the Gerb, member of the EPP in Strasbourg, had won the local elections and the first European country in the Balkans, and last June 7 was the head came back to Europe for the second time, sending five members to parliament in the share of the 17 Bulgarian.

Now we can therefore say that Bulgarian voters (53% turnout) have punished the Socialists for their way of governing and have placed their hopes in Gerb. And Gerb should not have trouble forming a government and to count on other minor parties in Parliament to right: the Coalition blue (7.7% of the vote), the RZS (Order, Lawfulness, Justice, 4.6%) and the Party Leader entrepreneur Kristo Kovachki (4.0%). Remain in opposition, in addition to the Socialists, the DPS (11, 3%) and the nationalist party Ataka (9%). The big loser is the Ndsv however, that after eight years in power, now collects only 3% of the votes and therefore remains outside parliament. ( Published 8 July 2009).
