● China''firmly opposes''the Dalai Lama's visit to Taiwan. ''No matter in what capacity or form in which the Dalai Lama goes to Taiwan, we oppose resolutely,''said the Office of Taiwan Affairs in a statement released by New China. The government of Taiwan had approved the invitation to the Dalai Lama by a group of opposition politicians in an open challenge to Beijing, which regards the Tibetan leader a''breakaway''. Visiting a school, President Ma Ying-jeou has in fact argued that the Dalai Lama''can 'help the souls of the dead find peace and to pray for the welfare of the survivors''of the typhoon Morakot, which made landfall on' island In early August, killing 670 people. The office of the Dalai Lama in India that the Buddhist leader said he agreed''in principle''the invitation. To ask the Dalai Lama to travel to Taiwan to comfort the victims of the typhoon were the mayors of six municipalities affected. The president's popularity has fallen to peak after the typhoon, when his government has been accused of an improper delay in understanding the severity of the devastation caused by Morakot and organizing assistance.

U.S. ACCUSATIONS FROM POLAND
● The United States has in fact abandoned the project Construction in Poland and the Czech Republic missile shield. Karadzic blames Western powers for the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accuses French service and a high international officials.
● The former president of Republika Srpska Radovan Karadzic says that the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina was imposed by Western powers, which have put their interests above strategic peace between ethnic groups in the Balkans. I hope that through my trial before the International Criminal Court in The Hague in Bosnia and Herzegovina people can understand what made us members of the international community, and how we were manipulated, showed Karadzic interview written statement to London "finantial times." These documents are necessary to refute the allegations that the perpetrators of these attacks are Karadzic and the Army of Republika Srpska , "he writes in his presentation to the Court.

HELP THE SERBIAN RADIO. THREATENS CLOSURE
● The Association of Journalists Serbs (Uns) has appealed to the authorities in Belgrade and the Serbian population to intervene in support of Klokot radio, a station that broadcasts in the Serbian language in the southwestern part of Kosovo, in serious financial difficulties and that the risk for this closure. The owner of the radio, Nikola Stolic - quoted by Tanjug - said that the issuer has an urgent need for new machinery and equipment, otherwise it will close within thirty days. Radio Klokot covers a region in southeastern Kosovo where Serbs live about 30 000.
